A CONNECTED ISLAND

Chevron Island is perfectly positioned as a calm oasis, set back from the liveliness of Surfers Paradise which is only a short stroll away. The island capitalises on its close proximity to major business, entertainment, cultural and retail precincts while enjoying a private ‘village-like’ atmosphere.

AN ENVIABLE DINING HUB

Thomas Drive on Chevron Island features popular local cafés, bars, al fresco dining and a diverse range of restaurants across multiple cuisines. The vibrant rooftop and beachfront venues of the Gold Coast are also nearby, offering a variety of additional dining experiences.

HEALTHCARE AND EDUCATION

Residents are able to access significant healthcare and education facilities via the Light Rail including the Health and Knowledge Precinct – home to Griffith University, Gold Coast University Hospital and Gold Coast Private University Hospital. Chevron Island is in close location to some of the most respected schools in Australia including St Hilda’s School, The Southport School as well as Bond University.

YOUR CULTURAL ESCAPE

Works are well underway for a new arts, culture and creative heart for the Gold Coast. The reimagined 16.9 hectare Gold Coast Cultural Precinct is a thriving destination for both visitors and locals. Home to HOTA, Gold Coast’s Home of the Arts, the area will activate artistic programmes, markets, festivals, film and family recreation and feature architecture from Melbourne-based practice ARM.

A garden style ampitheatre with capacity to hold 5,000 people, as well as a pedestrian and cycle bridge will connect the precinct to Chevron Island and onto Surfers Paradise. Further stages of the Cultural Precinct will include a central Art Tower and Great Hall, along with new and refurbished performing arts facilities.

“WE’RE SEEING THE GOLD COAST SETTING UP FOR A GOLDEN ERA OF GROWTH AND CHEVRON ISLAND IS ON THE CUSP OF PLAYING ITS ROLE IN THIS NEXT CHAPTER.”
