Works are well underway for a new arts, culture and creative heart for the Gold Coast. The reimagined 16.9 hectare Gold Coast Cultural Precinct is a thriving destination for both visitors and locals. Home to HOTA, Gold Coast’s Home of the Arts, the area will activate artistic programmes, markets, festivals, film and family recreation and feature architecture from Melbourne-based practice ARM.

A garden style ampitheatre with capacity to hold 5,000 people, as well as a pedestrian and cycle bridge will connect the precinct to Chevron Island and onto Surfers Paradise. Further stages of the Cultural Precinct will include a central Art Tower and Great Hall, along with new and refurbished performing arts facilities.
